The **Total Time in Status** field in the Issue History Collector's See History panel may display "N/A" instead of the calculated time. This typically occurs when the project is not included in the app's configuration or when specific statuses have not been assigned to the field.

- The Total Time in Status section on the Jira issue view shows "N/A" for specific statuses (for example, "In Acceptance").
- No time data is populated even if the issue has historically transitioned through the statuses.

## Cause

The app does not automatically track all projects or all statuses. "N/A" is displayed if:

1. The project containing the issue has not been added to the Issue History Collector configuration.
2. The specific status you are trying to track has not been assigned to the Total Time in Status field within the app settings.

## Resolution

### Scenario 1: project is not added to the app configuration

The app only monitors projects that are explicitly selected in the global configuration.

1. Navigate to **Jira Administration** > **Manage apps**.
2. In the left sidebar, under **Issue History Collector**, select **Configuration**.
3. Check the list of **Included Projects**.
4. If your project is missing, add it to the list and save the changes.

### Scenario 2: statuses are not assigned to the Total Time in Status field

Even if a project is included, you must define which statuses the app should calculate time for.

1. Navigate to the **Issue History Collector** configuration page (**Jira Administration** > **Apps** > **Issue History Collector** > **Configuration**).
2. Locate your project in the list.
3. In the **Actions** column, click the **Cogwheel (Settings)** icon for that project.
4. In the **Total Time in Status** configuration section, select the specific statuses you want to track (for example, "In Acceptance", "In Progress").
5. Save the configuration.
6. Refresh the Jira issue page to verify that the time is now calculated.
