This article explains how the new Appfire extension license works and where it should apply.

Generally, when customers request a trial license extension and Appfire approves it, they apply the new approved license in the same “Manage Apps” section of the respective app license where they previously applied the trial license.

But due to Atlassian’s new policies, customers can now use only one free trial license. They apply this license in the “Manage Apps” section for the respective app, and later they should replace it with the commercial license in that same section. If they apply the extension trial license again in that section, it won’t work due to Atlassian’s new policy, and it will show an error that **“Your App license is invalid.”**

Please follow the instructions below for where to apply the new Appfire-approved extension license so you can use the app again.

## Instructions

1. Click the “Manage Apps” section.
2. On the left-side window, you will find the details of the apps installed on your instance. Go to the section for the app for which you requested the extension license. Under that app name, you will find a “License Management” or “License” link. Click on it.
3. It will show a license page. Apply the new Appfire shared extension license in the highlighted license section, then click **Update**. The license will now work, and you will be able to use the app again.
