## Summary

In JXL for Jira, clicking on certain file types (such as PDFs, images, or videos) in the Sheets view now opens an inline media preview by default instead of downloading the file immediately. This article explains how to bypass the preview and download attachments directly with a single click.

## Use case

A user needs to download multiple attachments (for example, 20 PDF files) from a JXL sheet. Previously, this could be done with one click per file. With the introduction of the inline viewer, it now requires two clicks (one to open the preview and one to click **Download**), which increases the time and effort required for bulk tasks.

## Solution

To achieve the previous behavior and download a file directly without opening the media preview, use the following keyboard shortcuts while clicking the attachment:

- **macOS:** Hold down the `⌘ Cmd` key and click the attachment.
- **Windows/Linux:** Hold down the `⌃ Ctrl` key and click the attachment.

This shortcut works across all supported web browsers and allows for immediate downloading of PDFs, images, and other media files directly from the JXL Sheets view.
