## 📌 Overview

This document explains how to use the Atlassian REST API to fix issue related when trying to edit metrics in Foxly.



## 🎯 Purpose

When you try to update Foxly Score metrics, you might see that the following error appears  and Score metric is not being updated because of that :

## ⚠️ How to use API.


1. First we have to get your Jira issue ID where issue occurs. You copy ID from URL  here :

2. Then copy it into this API and open it in your web browser to get response.

`https://yourdomain.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/issue/{your issue ID here}`


Example response :

3. Now you have to use this API and copy ID from above step and paste it into your URL :

`https://yourdomain.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/mypermissions?permissions=BROWSE_PROJECTS,EDIT_ISSUES&issueId={ID number from previous API}`

## ⚠️ How to change Space permissions.


1. Go to Space Settings :

2. Find Edit Issues permission and change it accordingly so that your user have permission.
