| **Synchronizer Downgrade Process** |
| 1. Backup the Synchronizer database - If you have a default installation, you should be able to find the **config.sdf** file in this path: *C:\inetpub\wwwroot\tfs-jira-synchronizer\App_Data\config.sdf* - In the machine where Synchronizer is installed;
  1. This file contains the Sync Profiles settings;
2. Go to IIS Manager → Application Pools → Stop the TFS4JIRA app pool
3. Open Control Panel --> Program and Features --> Search for TFS4JIRA --> Select it and uninstall it;
4. You can download the version 7.8.6 here: [Synchronizer v7.8.6](https://sparteztfs4jirafiles.b-cdn.net/tfs4jira-synchronizer-offline-setup-7.8.6.exe);
5. Execute the installer for version 7.8.6 - run the installer as administrator;
6. Let the installer complete the installation (finish and close);
7. Once the installer is finished, the Synchronizer will start run automatically;
8. Access the Synchronizer to see if everything is alright after logging in. |

| **How to Downgrade the App in Jira** |
| 1. Download the Add-on version on our [Marketplace page](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/42296/tfs4jira-azure-devops-integration/version-history);
2. Go to Jira Administration —> Add-ons —> Search for **Spartez TFS4JIRA**;
3. Backup the License Key;
4. Click on Uninstall the Add-on;
5. Install manually the Add-on in Jira using [this process](https://confluence.atlassian.com/upm/installing-add-ons-273875715.html#InstallingMarketplaceapps-Installingbyfileupload);
6. Check if the license match or paste the license you have backup in step 3; |
