An extension is a separate Jira app that can be installed on top of the **Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards** app to extend the rich filters and rich filter gadgets with new specific functionality. 

Each extension needs to be installed and licensed separately. 

Currently, there are three Rich Filters extensions:

- Rich Filters::PDF Reports for Jira
- Rich Filters::Service Desk Dashboards
- Rich Filters::Time Tracking Dashboards
