<summary>What are the active and inactive notifications/announcements?</summary>

<u>Active Notifications</u>: If the option: *Status* in the respective announcement is *Enabled*, it indicates the announcement is active and users are prompted with notifications when they log into Jira.  
<u>Inactive Notifications</u>: If the option: Status in the respective announcement is *Disabled*, it indicates the announcement is no longer active and users are no longer prompted with notifications when they log into Jira.  
  
Set the *Status* to *Enabled* and *Disabled* as shown in:

<summary>Can we hide the Accept button?</summary>

In the </span>*<span style="color: #000000">Announcement editor </span>*<span style="color: #000000">window, click </span>**<span style="color: #000000">Show advanced options,</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> select the checkbox </span>**<span style="color: #000000">Should the accept button be shown </span>**<span style="color: #000000">and click</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> Save. </span>**<span style="color: #000000">For the next login, the </span>**<span style="color: #000000">Dismiss</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> button is displayed.</span>

<span style="color: #000000">Yes, there is an option to do so. </span><span style="color: #000000">In the </span>*<span style="color: #000000">Announcement editor </span>*<span style="color: #000000">window, click </span>**<span style="color: #000000">Show advanced options</span>**<span style="color: #000000">,</span><span style="color: #000000"> select the checkbox </span>**<span style="color: #000000">Enable the button after 5 seconds </span>**<span style="color: #000000">and click</span>**<span style="color: #000000"> Save. </span>**<span style="color: #000000">For the next login, the Dismiss button is activated after 5 seconds, ensuring the user has the opportunity to read the announcement before dismissing it.</span>
