## FAQ
What are the active and inactive notifications/announcements?
Active Notifications: If the option: *Status* in the respective announcement is *Enabled*, it indicates the announcement is active and users are prompted with notifications when they log into Jira.
Inactive Notifications: If the option: Status in the respective announcement is *Disabled*, it indicates the announcement is no longer active and users are no longer prompted with notifications when they log into Jira.
Set the *Status* to *Enabled* and *Disabled* as shown in:

Can we hide the Accept button?
Yes, there is an option to hide or show the **Accept **button. In the *Announcement editor *window, click **Show advanced options,** select the checkbox **Should the accept button be shown **and click** Save. **For the next login, the **Dismiss** button is displayed.

Is there an option to enable a button after some time?
Yes, there is an option to do so. In the *Announcement editor *window, click **Show advanced options**, select the checkbox **Enable the button after 5 seconds **and click** Save. **For the next login, the Dismiss button is activated after 5 seconds, ensuring the user has the opportunity to read the announcement before dismissing it.
