1. <span style="color: #333333">Log into your Jira instance as administrator.</span>
2. <span style="color: #333333">Select the </span>***<span style="color: #333333">Cog wheel </span>***> Macro (inline-external-image)

***<span style="color: #333333"> </span>******<span style="color: #333333">> </span>******<span style="color: #333333">Manage apps</span>****<span style="color: #333333">.</span>*
3. <span style="color: #333333">From the left sidebar, under the </span>*<span style="color: #333333">ANNOUNCER FOR JIRA</span>*<span style="color: #333333"> section, select </span>*<span style="color: #333333">Announcements</span>*<span style="color: #333333">.</span>  
**<span style="color: #333333">  </span>**> Macro (inline-media-image)
  1. <span style="color: #333333">When you are creating an announcement for the first time, click </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Create one now</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> to create a new announcement.</span>
  2. <span style="color: #333333">If you have any existing announcement(s), click </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Add another notification</span>**<span style="color: #333333">.</span>

4. <span style="color: #333333">In the </span>*<span style="color: #333333">Announcement editor,</span>*<span style="color: #333333"> enter the respective details of your choice as shown below: </span>
  1. <span style="color: #333333">Select the </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Plain Text</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> option from the type of announcements.</span>
  2. <span style="color: #333333">Enter your announcement details into the </span>*<span style="color: #333333">Plain Text</span>*<span style="color: #333333"> </span>*<span style="color: #333333">Contents</span>*<span style="color: #333333"> as required. </span>

  4. **<span style="color: #333333">Preview</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> the announcement and </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Save</span>**<span style="color: #333333">.</span>

<span style="color: #333333">You see the announcement in Jira as soon as the targeted audience log into the Jira instance.</span>
