## Problem

<span style="color: #003366">If when running a configuration import you</span><span style="color: #003366"> </span>receive<span style="color: #003366"> </span><span style="color: #003366">an error similar to below. </span>

User "XXX" was not found. This might have been caused by a related error, please check the import tree for missing dependencies or permissions
```

## Solution

> ℹ️ <span style="color: #003366">We can confirm that this indicates that the</span><span style="color: #003366"> </span>**<span style="color: #003366">user</span>**<span style="color: #003366"> </span><span style="color: #003366">with the name shown in the error is referenced by the configuration object which is giving this error inside of the configuration import tree.</span>

> ℹ️ <span style="color: #003366">The error is caused by the fact that the </span>**<span style="color: #003366">user</span>**<span style="color: #003366"> </span><span style="color: #003366">mentioned in the error does not exist in the target instance and is not included in the export file that you are importing in from. </span>

> ℹ️ <span style="color: #003366">In order to work around this error, you will need to create a </span>**<span style="color: #003366">user</span>**<span style="color: #003366"> </span><span style="color: #003366">in the target instance with the</span><span style="color: #003366"> </span>**<span style="color: #003366">username</span>**<span style="color: #003366"> </span><span style="color: #003366">mentioned inside the error before re-running the import.</span>
