<span style="color: #000000">This article explains two methods that search workflows to get the usage information about Update on Transition (UoT) - post functions.</span>

## <span style="color: #000000">Instructions</span>

<span style="color: #000000">To confirm whether the UoT app is used, search for the workflows that have post functions configured through the app, using any of the methods as given: </span>

#### <span style="color: #000000">Usage Information through XML export:</span>

1. <span style="color: #000000">Export a workflow in an XML format.</span>
2. <span style="color: #000000">Open the exported XML file in any browser.</span>
3. <span style="color: #000000">Search for this text: </span>**<span style="color: #000000"><arg name="class.name">org.swift.jira.cw</span>**<span style="color: #000000">.</span>
4. <span style="color: #000000">If you get any results, it indicates that the UoT app is being used in that workflow.</span>

#### <span style="color: #000000">Usage information through database query:</span>

1. <span style="color: #000000">Run this query in your database.</span>
2. <span style="color: #000000">If the query returns any records, it indicates that the UoT app is being used in that workflow. If the UoT app is used, the above query gives the result as shown:</span>
