# Description

In a few rare cases, there may be conflicts between add-ons that can cause UI issue or other problems. When directed by Bob Swift support, follow these steps to help identify the conflicting add-ons on your system so that the specific problem can be identified.

# Steps

> Macro (table-plus)
>
> | **Step** | **Description** |
> | --- | --- |
> | Do this on a **test environment** or at a time that will not impact your users
> | Go to Manage add-ons (UPM)
> | Click on **Enter safe mode** | This will disable 3rd party add-ons. |
> | Expand and enable the **Bob Swift** add-on that you are reporting the problem on
> | Run your test scenario to see if the problem is still showing | It is expected that the problem will no longer be showing. If it is still a problem, report that to Bob Swift support.<br>Go to the last step to re-enable your environment. |
> | Cycle through each 3rd party add-on and **enable** it and re-run the test scenario | The objective is to find the add-on that is causing the corruption or other problem. |
> | Report the add-on that was discovered on the original Bob Swift support issue | We will respond from there. |
> | Once complete, click **Exit safe mode**
