# Description

With the conversion to Atlassian id on this site, many users (including myself 😉) no longer appeared with their full name. Instead, there user name shows up. And this cannot be fixed by editing your profile 🙁. I opened an Atlassian support ticket to get a resolution. Here are the steps given.

# Steps

To change the full name and make it public the user must follow the steps below:

1. Log out of [https://bobswift.atlassian.net](https://bobswift.atlassian.net/)

2. Log out of [id.atlassian.com](http://id.atlassian.com/)

3. Open [https://bobswift.atlassian.net](https://bobswift.atlassian.net/)

4. Type the email and password

5. The option to choose between full name and username will appear

6. Choose full name, edit, and login
