In certain scenarios, an active Jira user, while searchable via JQL and able to be assigned to issues or tagged in comments, may not appear in Agile Poker. This issue arises because Jira allows users to set two different names: a `Full Name` and a `Public Name`.

### Understanding the user name settings in Jira

Users may choose to set a different `Full Name` and `Public Name`. Additionally, they have the option to restrict the visibility of their `Full Name` to only their organization.

### Impact on Agile Poker

Due to these settings, if the `Full Name` is restricted to an organization, Agile Poker may not retrieve the user based on this name. This limitation stems from Agile Poker's use of the Jira API, which does not recognize Agile Poker as a member of any specific organization. Consequently, Agile Poker can only identify users by their `Public Name`.

### Recommendations to ensure visibility in Agile Poker

To prevent visibility issues in Agile Poker, users are advised to:

1. Avoid restricting their `Full Name` visibility solely to their organization.
2. Set their `Public Name` to be identical to their `Full Name`.

This ensures consistent visibility across both Jira and Agile Poker, facilitating smoother operations and integration.
