This guide helps you fix the error `The issue couldn't be created because the ‘Labels' field is missing from the project field configuration.` when sending a message from the Chat for JSM’s chat widget.

## Cause

The **Labels** field is not included in the project's screens, preventing chats from creating issues with labels.

## Solution

Add the **Labels** field to the relevant screens in your project configuration.

## Steps

1. Navigate to **Project settings** for the project where you are facing the issue.
2. Click **Chat for JSM**.
3. Click **General settings** > Project’s field configuration.
4. On the *Field configurations* page, select the project.
5. Search for `labels`.
6. Click on **Screens**.
7. Search for the project with the project key, check the checkbox next to the related screens, and click **Update**.

After following these steps, creating issues through the Chat for JSM app should no longer encounter the `Labels Field Missing` error.
