Agile Cards lets you print Jira issues to use on physical boards, but it doesn’t stop there. You can also sync updates from your physical board back to Jira.

## How it works

To enable synchronization, your printed Agile Cards need to include special [QR and KR codes](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ScrumPrint/pages/148046033). These codes are scanned by Agile Cards to identify and update the corresponding Jira issues.

## Step 1: Set up your physical board

Before scanning cards, make sure your [physical task board](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ScrumPrint/pages/148045904) is ready. 

## Step 2: Use Agile Cards synchronization

Refer to [this page](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ScrumPrint/pages/148046023) to set up the synchronization. Once set up, you can:

- [Sync issue statuses](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ScrumPrint/pages/148046033)
- [Update field values](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ScrumPrint/pages/148046033)
- Automatically re-rank backlog items

You can perform synchronization using either your mobile phone or desktop, depending on your preferences.
