Here is what you need to know about migrating your Jira Data Center instance with [Agile Cards app](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/9601/agile-cards-print-issues-from-jira?tab=overview) to Jira Cloud.

> ℹ️ Both Agile Cards for Jira Data Center and Agile Cards for Jira Cloud share the same frontend codebase. This means you’ll experience full feature parity and a consistent interface before and after migration, ensuring everything looks and behaves just as you’re accustomed to.

## 1. Templates and configurations migrate automatically

Your templates and corkboard configuration will be migrated automatically along with Jira data if you follow [Atlassian's Cloud migration guide](https://www.atlassian.com/cloud-migration/migrate). Agile Cards app will appear in [Jira Cloud Migration Assistant](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1222010/jira-cloud-migration-assistant?hosting=server&tab=overview) to allow a smooth data transition.

> 📝 Automatic app data migration will be available as soon as Atlassian enables app migrations in [Jira Cloud Migration Assistant](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1222010/jira-cloud-migration-assistant?hosting=datacenter&tab=overview).

## 2. Sync all printed cards before migrating

Before starting the migration:

- Synchronize all printed cards with their respective Jira issues.
- After the migration is complete, reprint any cards you need using your new Jira Cloud instance.
Printed cards from Jira DC are not compatible with Jira Cloud.
