Navigate to **Apps** > **Manage apps**. 2. The TFS4JIRA app displays an **Update** label. Click **View app details**. 3. To upgrade the app, click **Update**. 4. The *Confirm app update* dialog opens. Click **Update**. 5. Once the upgrade is complete, open the app, navigate to** Administration** > **Access permissions**,** **and** **click** Save**. This step ensures that all existing users continue to have access to the app on Forge Remote and the scheduled connector refreshes continue to run properly. > 📝 - Until you upgrade the app, you will continue using the existing **Forge on Connect** version. > 📝 - The app supports both Forge on Connect and Forge Remote versions, with the same features and functionality. ### **Data handling after app reinstallation** Starting with the migration to Atlassian Forge, reinstalling an app creates a new instance with no access to previous data. Each installation gets a unique ID and a separate data bucket. Old data is kept for 90 days. Contact Appfire Support with your Atlassian Cloud ID if you need recovery. After this period, data is permanently deleted. For troubleshooting, contact support before uninstalling.
