The Overdue custom field displays breach details for completed and breached SLAs within a work item. If the work item doesn't have a completed or breached SLA, this custom field is hidden.

### How to change Overdue custom field display options

1. Go to **SLA Fields.**
2. Click the cog icon in the row of a custom field in order to change its display options.
3. Go to **Display Options. **The *Display Options*** **screen displays.
4. Select **Time Format **to display. In the preview below the *Time format* section, you can see the **Sample Time String **as you select.
  - **Long format:** Displays the duration with day/hour/minute/second units and full localized unit labels.
  - **Short format:** Displays the duration with day/hour/minute/second units and abbreviated unit labels.
  - **Shorter format:** Displays the duration with hour/minute/second units and abbreviated unit labels.
5. Tick **Display SLAs of Linked Issues **if you want to view SLAs of linked work items within one another.
6. Click **Save.**
